"PENNY DREADFUL"
PENNY DREADFUL stars Emily Vacchiano along with Betsy Palmer (FRIDAY THE 13th), Warrington Gillette (FRIDAY THE 13th PART II) Gillette, Peter Dupre (EYES OF A STRANGER), Tina Krause (MACHINES OF LOVE AND HATE), and Sebastian Lacause (CHICAGO).

"ANGEL'S BLADE"
Although this is not a Cinema Image Production, actor Joseph Zaso recently traveled to Massachusetts to appear in director Robert Stock's new horror film feature, "ANGEL'S BLADE." This film also stars actress Raine Brown (SATAN'S PLAYGROUND, HORROR), Antonio Saillant, Jeb Toms, and Jessica Moon. The film will be finished by August, 2006. It hopes to screen at the 2006 Toronto Film Festival. The entire back cover of the JUNE issue of FANGORIA Magazine is devoted to "ANGEL'S BLADE."
"BARRICADE - Welcome to Hell"
Cinema Image Productions will be co-producing the new feature film, "Barricade - Welcome to Hell" for German horror director Timo Rose (LORD OF THE UNDEAD) in association with ROSECALYPSE and 9 Films International, and Starving Kappa Pictures, Ltd. The film will shoot in August, 2006 and will be released in January, 2007 through two distributors: CINEMA IMAGE PRODUCTIONS (for the US, Canada and Australia) and GERMAICA FILMS & RECORDS (for all other territories). The film is a savage and brutal nightmare in the tradition of "The Hills Have Eyes" and stars Raine Brown (SATAN'S PLAYGROUND, HORROR, ANGEL'S BLADE), Joseph Zaso (RED MIDNIGHT, 5 DEAD ON THE CRIMSON CANVAS) and Andre Reissig (LORD OF THE UNDEAD) as three friends hiking in the forests of Central Germany where they encounter a nightmarish mutant family and their nightmare world. The film was written by Timo Rose and Ted Geoghegan (DEMONIUM, NIKOS THE IMPALER). Music will be provided by British composer John Roome (NIP/TUCK and MASTERS OF HORROR). Pre-orders for this film will begin in Fall, 2006.

"DARKNESS SURROUNDS ROBERTA"
Cinema Image Productions will be co-producing an Italian/American production with GOTHIC PRODUZIONI. Returning to the giallo genre, Cinema Image Productions will present "DARKNESS SURROUNDS ROBERTA," a stylish and sexy mystery thriller in the tradition of the classic giallo films of the early 70s. The film concerns adultery, blackmail, murder, obsession, lust, cruelty, art, decadence and dark desires - all in the city of Florence.
The film is being written and directed by Giovanni
Pianigiani (RED MIDNIGHT, NIGHT'S VAMPIRES) and the
executive producer is Bruno di Marcello (RED MIDNIGHT).
Producer/actor Joseph Zaso will play a supporting role and
British actress Eileen Daly (MACHINES OF LOVE AND HATE,
RAZOR BLADE SMILE) will guest star. Shooting will
commence January, 2007 in Italy in the cities of Florence
and Caserta.
